When I first got a Stream Deck and later a Loupedeck Live, I realized very quickly that setting up those devices can quickly turn into an unproductive time sink. There’s the question of which automations to turn into a button, plus the layout and look of the buttons to consider. If you’re not careful, it’s easy to get sucked into hours of button fiddling.

I haven’t found a good solution for deciding which automations to include on a device or how to organize them, except through trial and error. However, I have found a tool for accelerating the process of creating the buttons themselves: Button Creator for Stream Deck, a Mac utility for making images for Stream Deck buttons that also works with Loupedeck’s products.
