Revisiting Other Calendar Apps

Fantastical has been and continues to be the gold standard against which other calendar apps are measured. The app began with the convenience of entering events in a natural language syntax and expanded from there. Most recently, the app has leaned into scheduling meetings and integrating with a long list of video conferencing systems.

I’ve used Fantastical on and off for a long time. I appreciate the features I use, but my calendaring needs are modest. As a result, I’ve found myself using very few of the features that have been added to the app in recent years. So, when Fantastical recently increased its subscription price substantially, I figured it would be a good time to revisit the many calendar apps available on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch and share my favorites.
