Rescheduling Reminders to Specific Days with GoodTask

In yesterday’s issue of the Monthly Log, I wrote about why I switched to setting due dates only, without due times, for my reminders. In the story, I mentioned how the Reminders, GoodTask, and Remind Me Faster apps deal with creating and visualizing date-based reminders that don’t have a time associated with them, but I forgot to share the quick action I’ve made in GoodTask to easily reschedule existing reminders.

The quick action I’ve created lets me push a specific reminder to another day by long-pressing the reminder in GoodTask and selecting the ‘Due Date’ action. The action uses a ‘Prompt: Select’ step that brings up a list of days to choose from. The day I pick gets used as the new due date for the reminder, and that’s it.
