Ranking the Apple Watch Ultra Bands
When I wrote about the need for more Apple Watch Ultra band choices in August, I figured Apple was more likely than not to come through with a new band or two within a few weeks. To my surprise, they didn’t. There are still just three styles of bands, but at least we got new color combinations. Shortly after the event announcing the bands and new iPhones, I ordered the bright orange Ocean band, and now that I’ve tried all three types of bands, I thought I’d share a few thoughts about each.
When I ordered the Apple Watch Ultra in September 2022, I picked a khaki-colored Alpine Loop band. The bright orange model was tempting, but it sold out quickly, plus I wanted something less flashy for day-to-day wear anyway.
