Pruning Your AirDrop Device List
Sometimes you make an adjustment to your setup that seems so obvious that you wonder why you didn’t do it earlier. This is one of those. I probably should write about them more often because as obvious as it seemed to me in hindsight, the fact is that it took me a while to do anything about it, so perhaps there are Club members in the same situation.
The source of the problem was my always-on 2018 Mac mini that sits in a closet and is primarily used as a Plex and Channels server for live TV. That closet also happens to be where the my fiber Internet service modem and WiFi router are, which resulted in an annoying AirDrop problem.
