Playing the Nintendo Switch on a Studio Display

Streaming my Nintendo Switch to my Mac Studio over Ethernet.

One of the things I’m constantly reminded of working with Federico is how much interesting tech exists outside the usual Apple sphere. It’s easy to stay in a comfortable Apple bubble because everything works together well, more or less. However, if you do stay in the bubble, you’re also missing out on a lot.

No one understands this better than Federico, whose explorations of Android, lossless audio devices, headphones, and handheld PCs are the source of so many of his wild experiments that help him push the boundaries of what’s possible with Apple devices. This is why I love CES, dip in and out of the digital photography world, and enjoy tracking the weird and wonderful world of videogame accessories. There’s usually something happening in one of these areas that can be applied in a slightly different and interesting way that opens up new possibilities that Apple never envisioned.
