Planning for a Move with Concepts
Jennifer and I will be moving again soon. Just writing that makes me tired, but the apartment we moved into in North Carolina was always meant to be temporary while we got to know the area. We found a place we love, so the process of packing up boxes and figuring out where to put everything in our new home has begun again.
The moving schedule is less compressed this time than before, so I spent some time recently thinking about ways I could use my iPad to help with the planning. I had a floor plan of our new home with measurements for many of the rooms. That struck me as a good starting place for mocking up the layout of furniture, so we could get an idea of what would fit in each room. So, I started looking for an app.
