It’s been nearly three years since I highlighted some of my favorite Mac utilities, so it’s high time I correct that with some of the apps I’ve been using the most in recent months:
There are a lot of apps that act as temporary parking spots for files that you want to use elsewhere. Lately, I’ve been using Dropover and enjoying it a lot. At its most basic, you grab a file from Finder and shake the pointer back and forth a little, which makes a small drop-zone window appear. Drop the file onto the window, navigate somewhere else, drag the file out of Dropover and onto its destination, and the Dropover window disappears. It’s incredibly simple but handy.
