Encouraging Myself to Discover New Music

I’m not a fan of New Year resolutions; while the new year is a great time to think about what you want to achieve that year, at least for me, it’s a recipe for failure. That said, I have set myself a New Year resolution this year, but to make it a low-pressure one, the one I’ve made is an open target with no real point of measurement. That resolution is to listen to more new music, preferably in the form of albums.

As I’m sure many members do, I use Marcos Tanaka’s MusicBox to bookmark albums I discover or are shared with me. MusicBox is an excellent app that allows for tagging, sorting, and more and exposes lots of metadata from any album you bookmark in the app.
