Audio-to-Text Transcription with Whisper
Whisper is OpenAI’s set of machine learning models for converting audio to text. It was released last fall but has really begun to pick up steam in the Apple community over the past few weeks.
I’ve always wanted a text-searchable database of past AppStories episodes to make it easier to link back to old episodes and make sure we aren’t planning an episode that repeats an old one. Episode descriptions, chapter titles, and show notes help, but an accurate transcription would be better.
