Surfed

Surfed, one of this week’s giveaways in our Discord community, has evolved a lot since it was first released. The app tracks your browsing history with your permission, which allows you to easily revisit sites and view statistics about your web browsing, but it also serves as a bookmarking service. Sites you’ve visited can be organized into collections and tagged. The app also supports Shortcuts, Home Screen widgets, reminders, Spotlight search, and more.

Most recently, the app has added full-text search, a read-later view, and the option to listen to saved articles. Perhaps the feature with the most potential, though, is Web Triggers, which allow you to run shortcuts, URL schemes, and JavaScript, plus perform other actions automatically as you browse in Safari. Next up for the app is iCloud sync, a feature I’ve been looking forward to for a while.
