WallSetter, A Simple Shortcut to Assign Wallpapers from Files and Finder

Earlier this week, I created a simple shortcut to fix something that has been annoying me for a while: I have a collection of wallpapers organized in folders in iCloud Drive, and I wanted an easy way to assign a new system wallpaper directly from my file manager instead of going through Settings. That’s exactly what my new WallSetter shortcut does.

As I mentioned on Connected, I have a pretty large selection of wallpapers I’ve purchased from creators on Gumroad over the years or downloaded for free from designers like Basic Apple Guy and Hector Simpson. All of these wallpapers are organized in folders and sub-folders; the structure allows me to remember what they’re called and, more importantly, have separate versions for desktop and mobile devices.
