Turning Minimizing Windows on macOS into Hiding Them Instead

As part of the process of using macOS more as a result of working with the Vision Pro (and thus using macOS as a companion “app” with Mac Virtual Display), I’m now bumping into a series of small roadblocks that I’m sure are nothing new to longtime Mac users. One of such issues I’ve encountered is the fact that I tend to press ⌘M a lot to minimize windows into the dock, but in doing that, those windows no longer come up when I ⌘Tab to their app’s icon again.

I haven’t looked into whether there’s a setting or third-party utility to override this behavior, but since years of muscle memory are a hard habit to kick, I figured I’d just create the override myself with a simple BetterTouchTool trick.
