Rediscovering Due and Its Nagging Reminders

As I continue to put my personal and professional life back together after the release of the iOS and iPadOS 15 review, I’ve finally had the time to sit down and figure out something that has been bothering me for a while: I’ve taken personal reminders out of my task manager and put them in a separate app. More specifically, I’ve taken non-work-related reminders and moved them into Due.

For a while now, I’ve been growing increasingly annoyed by having a mix of work tasks and personal reminders within the same GTD-oriented app – Todoist in my case. It’s not just that tasks such as “Clean up dog poop outside” and “Test latest EPUB script for book” are funny next to each other; my problem is that I was constantly forgetting to take care of those personal reminders saved in Todoist.
