Optimizing Moonlight PC Streaming for the iPad Pro
Optimizing Moonlight PC Streaming for the iPad Pro
A couple of weeks ago on MacStories, I wrote about how I turned the iPad Pro into a portable gaming display for my PC using Moonlight, an app that lets me stream games from Windows to iPadOS over my local network. Over the past week, I’ve further optimized my setup and discovered several details about iPadOS’ support for Wi-Fi 6E and Moonlight that I didn’t know before. I thought it may be useful to share them this month with Club members.
For starters, I should clarify that when I mention “my gaming PC”, I mean my Legion Go. I’ve spent the past couple of months working on a complete restructuring of my desk around the Legion Go and an eGPU. It’s been a massive project, and I will be able to share more details on MacStories and…somewhere else starting next month. Stay tuned for that because it’s going to be a very fun story.
