Earlier this week on MacStories, I previewed something I’d been working on for quite some time: a major update to my MultiButton shortcut that integrates with a new plugin system I called CAPS, short for Contextual Apps Plugin System.

As I teased in the story, the idea behind CAPS is to allow the Action button on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max to change its behavior automatically depending on which app you’re currently using. Here’s how I described its functionality:
