What’s your relationship with the Shortcuts app and automation on Apple platforms?

I started using the app back in its indie days when it was called Workflow. Back then Workflow was a tool I used to bridge multiple apps together. Especially in my early days of working from the iPad, it wasn’t easy to pass a file from one app to another then.

Fast forwarding to today, iOS and now iPadOS are more open when it comes to sharing content with the help of the Files app. I still use Shortcuts to pass data between apps, but it’s also a tool to control system features and interact with web APIs.
