The past three months I’€™ve tried to interact with my iPhone in a much different way. My Home screen is set up so that apps (mostly social media) are hidden away in folders so I don’€™t reflexively open them. Whenever I look at my phone, I try to know exactly what I’€™m doing and why. I’€™m still addicted to it and do most of my work here, but having less noise has been better for my mental health. My iPads are set up the same way, but I have zero notifications or badges.
