Frames API Builder, A Shortcut to Get Started with the Apple Frames API

Earlier this week, I released Apple Frames 3.2 on MacStories. In case you missed it, it’s a substantial update that comes with new frames for the iPhone 15 Pro line plus enhancements for the Frames API, such as spacing controls and Files/Finder support. In the article, I wrote that I was going to share about some advanced uses of the Frames API in MacStories Weekly, but just as I started outlining my ideas, I had an even better one:

Instead of releasing a bunch of pre-made Frames API shortcuts, what if I created an interactive “playground” tool to easily get started with the Frames API and make as many shortcuts as you want? Give a person a shortcut, and you help them automate for a day; give them a shortcut builder, and they can automate for a lifetime. Something like that.
