Marcos Tanaka’s excellent utility for inspecting album and song metadata, MusicSmart, was updated earlier this week with a brand new iPad layout that now uses three columns and a native sidebar, which is great to see ahead of the release of iPadOS 16 and Stage Manager. The app has also received support for a Home Screen widget to get liner notes using Shazam, Now Playing, or search, as well as a section for recently viewed albums and tracks.
