Adding New Events with Calendar Templates {.title}

My usage of calendars has grown exponentially over the past year. MacStories is now a team of 6, John and I are about to launch a brand new MacStories project (more on this soon), and Club MacStories is continuing to grow with new sections and member features I’m planning for the future. On top of this, I have a fairly busy personal life as I like to travel with my girlfriend, meet with people, and take care of my family. This has resulted in taking advantage of Google Calendar (with multiple calendars) to make sure I don’t forget all my appointments and also to allow my teammates to check on my availability.

For a long time, I’ve been looking for iOS calendar apps with support for event templates. Being able to set up templates for recurring events that don’t have a fixed schedule would allow me to save time (and be more consistent) when adding those events. Week Calendar is an option on the iPhone, but, sadly, the iPad app hasn’t been updated in years, and I’d like to have something even quicker and more intuitive for my needs. Unsurprisingly, I solved the problem with Workflow.
